### What is deferred deep linking?

Deferred deep linking allows a link to survive the app installation process. If a user clicks your link but doesn't have the app, they are redirected to the App Store. After installing and opening the app, Redirectly retrieves the original link data so you can route the user to the correct content.

### How does install attribution work?

Redirectly tracks when users install your app after clicking a deep link. We match installs to the original link click using device fingerprinting, allowing you to distinguish between organic and attributed installs.
